New Blog!

This blog is not intended to replace Ellie's blog, rather it is a forum for us to share information on Neuroblastoma and our experience, as parents. We hope to inlcude Ellie's treatment information as well as things that we have found helpful in easing the pain brought on by treatments. We will also include links to various resources. Perhaps, in time, we will also be able to put out some hospital survival tips and such. We hope to be able to include links to other NB fighters and "angels" (those precious ones who are no longer with us). Mostly, we want other parents who have had the rug swept out from under them, to be able to find much needed information. This will all take some time, but for now I just wanted to get the site up and running. We will add to it as we are able!

I'm excited about the new blog! Have you considered adding links to childhood cancer/neuroblastoma charities. I'm recalling specifically that motorcycle ride you wrote about in Ellie's blog.

I ask because I "GoodSearch" (www.goodsearch.com) and currently, whenever I do an internet search I search for CureSearch. This way, every time I need to find a lyric or something a penny is being donated to that organization.

What a beautiful page you've created. Just the look of it is comforting and I imagine that's just want your intended readers will need, a safe haven and place of comfort and real information. Your honest writing and beautiful heart will be such a ministry to others. So good that Ellie's life continues to bless in this way.

Hi Sarah,

Just a word to let you know that I'm praying for your plans here, and look forward to what will come of this site at the proper time. Please tell John, Ethan and Loretta that praying for all of you is a privilege. Your blogs have been a means of grace to many.

For who is God save the LORD? or who is a rock save our God? It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect. He maketh my feet like hinds'feet , and setteth me upon my high places. He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms. Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great.

...

The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted.

Psalm 18:31–35, 46

The whole psalm Rocks.

Sarah,
May the Lord guide your caring hand as you reach out to others to 'sweeten their pain'.

What a beautiful picture of Ellie that graces this blog.

Sarah,

I apologize for asking if Ellie had Neuroblastoma. I was directed to your main blog.. I only just now clicked on your "profile" and saw this second blog.

I hate that we have this in common, but am encouraged by your faith in GOD and the grace with which you're handling your life. I PRAISE GOD for JESUS, our COMFORTER!

In HIM..

I have a grandson who has neuroblastoma, he is almost 3 yrs old. He has gone through chemo and the stem cells transplant and the cancer has returned. Do you know of success stories of anyone who has treated neuroblastoms through natural methods for a child that age?
Thank you for any help you can give.
